Rishi Kapoor is On Cloud Nine As He Finally Gets To Have 'Phulka' And 'Ghar Ka Khana'

Anupam Kher, who has been in New York to shoot for his TV show New Amsterdam was visited by special guests on Sunday at this NY apartment over lunch. It was just a day earlier, when Anupam Kher had visited Rishi and Neetu in the same city. The One Day: Justice Delivered actor had posted some pictures on social media too and had captioned it saying, “It was as always wonderful and inspirational to spend a beautiful evening with my friends @neetu54 and #RishiKapoor. Both of them are a great example of human endurance and triumph. Road to recovery, both, physical & mental is faster if there is love, care and determination. Well done. Jai Ho.”

Now, Anupam Kher took to social media again and informed his followers about Rishi and Neetu’s luncheon at his place. He first shared a picture with Rishi and Neetu Kapoor and captioned it, “Guess who came for lunch? I was delighted to have @neetu54 #RishiKapoor along with Santosh at my house for lunch. As Neetu ji rightfully commented that we never thought we will meet like this at my place in NY. But then don’t I always say #KuchBhiHoSaktaHai. Dattu was over the moon to specially cook for them.”

But it was Rishi Kapoor who was extremely delighted to have some phulka/roti at Kher's house after ages. Posting a picture, he wrote, “At Anupam Kher’s apartment for lunch. Had the correct “aate(flour) ka phulka( Indian bread) after a while. Great food made by his man Friday Daddu.”

Earlier, during an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi Kapoor had spoken at length about his health to the leading daily. He had said, “On the subject of my health, thanks to the prayers and good wishes of my family, friends and fans, I am perfect now. The cancer is in remission, but I am still under treatment. I have a crucial meeting with the doctors today at 10.45 am, there’s one treatment still left to be done. The problem is not the treatment but the reaction time. There is a six-week gap between one treatment and the next when all you can do is eat, shop, watch movies, live a normal life which I would rather do at home than here in New York. It’s been nine months and 16 days—I know since I have been counting the days—that I have been away. I really miss home.”
